Good news - you're human if you are struggling, especially now. Perhaps you know the burdens of depression and anxiety, and you're seeking relief. Maybe you're looking for guidance through the challenges of relationships - dating someone new, nurturing a long-term partnership, or even establishing boundaries with family, friends, or coworkers. Sometimes life transitions - the loss of a loved one, the stress of a new job or school, a move to a new city, a traumatic event - can be overwhelming, and you're looking for support and a fresh perspective.

Whatever brings you to Dr. Asbaghi, know that you've already taken a big step towards feeling better. Psychiatric illness and psychological suffering are treatable.

Treatment

Treatment

Dr. Asbaghi starts to get to know you with an in-depth evaluation which explores an individual's childhood development, life story, relationships, personality, habits, and medical/psychiatric history. He then develops a comprehensive psychiatric formulation which integrates this information and provides a strong foundation for a course of treatment.

  • With his expertise in psychopharmacology across the age-span, Dr. Asbaghi collaborates with you to discover if medications are part of that path towards health, and whether they may help reduce the weight of depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and other psychiatric illnesses.

  • Through talk therapy, he helps his patients understand what is causing disruption in their lives and relationships, gives them the tools they need to build a life they want, and supports their flourishing and individual goals throughout the process.
